Meta’s first standalone office in Asia located at Gurugram spans over 1,35,000 sqft across 6 floors. The office building also houses ‘Centre for Fuelling India’s New Economy’ that aims to train and skill 10 Mn small businesses and 2.5 lakh creators over the next three years.

The office houses Meta’s largest team in the country from Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp. The workspace design incorporate spaces that melds real, online, virtual and augmented worlds.

The new office has artworks by renowned artists Pratap Morey, Rohini Devasher and Sameer Kulavoor that reflects India’s cultural and ideological diversity

The building has also received the

Key Challenges

Time – COVID scenario, manpower constraint, Labour camp sanitization, food arrangements, workers healthcare, materials also were sanitized, 80 % of material was imported. However, Ambience had on role manpower, with 200 plus manpower strength that was present in NCR region at time of COVID Manpower was trained in basic and routine hygiene to tackle COVID 19 situation, anticipating outbreak, site sanitization team was formed which was looking after all key area sanitization such as site office, Stocking yard, debris yard etc.
Due to close proximity of residential area from site the heavy work were impacted post 8pm. To mitigate the situations, the task planning was done accordingly.
Development of a new solution – Twin framing system with Habito- Duraline; Gyproc secondary ceiling solution was proposed by Ambience team to mitigate the challenges (vibration sounds) in the Facebook studio rooms, near AHU rooms

Converted from Aluminum to Closed Stud framework for superior fire, acoustic and stability performance
Extensive range of Plasterboards used in the project; Fire Certification provided
Recommendations on Closed Stud systems accepted resulting in superior acoustic performance
Acoustic Drywalls installation with no visible joints and on-site testing to achieve STC 56 was complied
Double height area feature wall with hand-painted artwork was successfully executed
Successfully Clocked 615392 Safe man hours for the project
