Project description

Midtown Union is a mixed-use development in downtown Atlanta featuring multiple high-rise buildings including high-end offices, apartments, and a hotel. The project was designed to breathe fresh life into the community and provide an energetic, and innovative environment for people to work, live, and relax. The development features a 26 story, 612,000 sq. ft. office tower, a 26 story residential building, and a 14 story Kimpton hotel with 32,000 sq. ft. of retail spaces. Because of the complexity and aggressive schedule of this project, products selected for this had to meet stringent building codes and be “cut to order” to help streamline installation efficiency. CertainTeed’s products were able to meet the sustainability requirements in order to achieve LEED® Platinum certification and ensure a fast pace on the job.
