Valley: a new architectural highlight and landmark in Amsterdam, is a multifunctional building offering residential and commercial functions. It is designed to be an oasis in a busy business district: the three towers appearing like a rock ripped apart, in its heart creating a valley of water, plants and trees and spaces for people to live.
Valley is characterized by its size and complexity following from the variety in shapes: not a single floor or any of the 198 apartments is alike. It was a challenge to coordinate all the different walltypes and measurements in each apartment and on each floor, working with tight logistics (just-in-time deliveries) within a short timeframe. Meanwhile still making sure to meet the high quality demands – on some of The Netherlands’ most expensive square meters…
Valley offers a 3-floor underground parking. From the ground floor up to the 7th floor there are offices, retail spaces and restaurants as well as areas for cultural activities. From the 8th floor up is the residential area with 198 apartments in total. The 3 residential towers with their characteristic uneven, ‘rocky’ shapes have a height of 103, 79 and 69 meters respectively.
Meanwhile Valley has been rewarded with several prestigious awards, like the Emporis Skyscraper Award 2021. In this competition Valley was chosen from 600 designs as ‘the best skyscraper in the world’.

Biography: AT Projecten was founded in 2002. The name ‘AT’ stands for ‘Afbouw Totaal’ (‘Total Drywall’) and they offer a concept of total construction projects: from the structural work, through installation to drywall construction. AT’s core activities are walls, ceilings, coves and paneling, expanding towards flooring and carpeting.

Logistics have been the key to our success in this project: smart and extensive preparations and planning to make sure the logistics went smoothly.
Each single appartment was unique by size and dimensions: it was key that all materials were delivered to the right appartment in the exact dimensions and quality. This process demanded a high level of preparation and coordination, and with success.
In spite of the complexity of this project, financially it has turned out successfully
