Microsoft Corporation India, one of the fastest growing subsidiaries of Microsoft Corporation, constructed this 12,000 square metre sales and marketing headquarters in Gurgaon. Partition walls and false ceilings for the entire office space were executed with Gyproc plasterboard and metal systems, and partition walls with Fireline plasterboard were used to achieve the fire performance requirements. For the wet area partition wall we opted for the Gyproc Moisture Resistant board with tile fixings on it. The architect and client were very particular about each and every minute detail. It was demanding from this perspective for the contractor to achieve such a quality finish with high attention to detail within the stipulated time frame of 90 days. PMC for the project received an award from Microsoft Corporation for the exemplary finish of the project. Furthermore, use of the MR plasterboard in wet area partition walls has always been a challenge in India, and this project successfully executed the wet area system.
