Project description
The existing theater in Niksic was completely reconstructed and adapted to meet the new demands of visitors. Reconstruction of this building was very demanding regarding sound insulation and absorption, and solutions were found through the use of Rigitone and Gyptone. Another demanding aspect was the suspended ceiling in a large area, which was constructed at a great height. However with a simple approach and respecting the rules of the operation of spaces with similar purposes, the architects of this project managed to rise above narrow, conventional thinking of what the space should be. They successfully created a space that is open and attractive to visitors. Precisely such an approach allowed the use of dry construction procedures, especially Rigips materials and technology for the walls and ceiling. Using these materials enabled a lot of freedom for architectural expression, which resulted in an interesting interior design.

Fifty years of architectural experience and more than 1,500 structures built on the territory of Montenegro and Russia speak for themselves about the quality and seriousness of the work that we do. So far, we have built more than 5,000 apartments, 17 hotels and a large number of business and manufacturing facilities.

- The project had financial problems and in accordance with that the reconstruction lasted a long time.
- The success iof this project was that all works were successfully implemented and completed on time thanks to good team coordination.
Key Challenges
With a simple approach and respecting the rules of the operation of spaces with similar purposes, the authors of this project managed to rise above narrow thinking that the space should be obtrude. The space is open and attracting to visitors. Precisely such an approach allowed the use of dry construction procedures, especially Rigips materials and technology of walls and ceilings. Using these materials enabled freedom of architectural expression, which resulted in interior design for example. Soft lines with gentle and rounded geometric forms allowed a new expression in making this project, all thanks to the Rigips materials and modern approach to the realization.
